Aththa Muththa Kolama (Komödie von Großmutter und Großvater). In der Aththa Kolama (Großmutterkomödie) wird die Maske einer alten Frau getragen, in der Muththa Kolama (Großvaterkomödie) die eines alten Mannes. Obwohl die Maske wie ein altes Gesicht wirkt, gibt es kaum eine andere Kolama (Komödie), die so viel Unterhaltung hervorruft.

In dieser Kolama (Komödie) werden, wie man sich denken kann, einige ältere Menschen der singhalesischen Landgesellschaft, die kein diszipliniertes Leben führen, nachgeahmt und verspottet. Die hier dargestellten Figuren Aththa und Muththa werden als betagte Großmütter und Großväter dargestellt.

Während der Aufführung umarmen sie sich gegenseitig. Sie scherzen und machen sich übereinander lustig. Dies sorgt beim Publikum für viel Belustigung und Gelächter.

6. All masks are to be used as home decor items and not to wear for traditional kolam dancing. If you require wearable masks, you will need to order a specific type with spaces / gaps for the mouth, eyes and proper breathing. Custom made wearable masks can be ordered separately upon request and proper measurement.
